GICO has always been to the fore in terms of safety and quality. Since 1992 its lines have carried the CE mark and in 1996 it achieved ISO 9001 Quality certification. Currently the company is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, as it "conforms to the requisites of standards for quality management systems regarding the design and manufacture of cooking appliances and equipment, and complementary items for food preparation and distribution".

All GICO appliances meet the requirements of CEE directives (certified by GASTEC, DVGW and GOST for Russia).
